    This guide on Access to rural land and land administration after violent conflicts has been prepared to assist land tenure and land administration specialists who are involved with the reconstruction of systems of land tenure and land administration in countries that are emerging from violent conflict. Providing secure access to land is particularly complex in such situations. Violent conflicts typically result in the displacement of much of the population. At the end of the conflict, people returning home may find that others occupy their property.

    The Project "Afforestation, Forestry Research, Planning and Development in the Three North Region of China" - GCP/CPR/009/BEL - known locally as the "009 Project", is jointly financed by the Governments of Belgium and China, with Technical Assistance by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Its activities are concentrated on the Korqin Sandy Lands in northeastern Inner Mongolia, a sub-region of the Three-North Shelterbelt Program. Its action field covers parts of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and of the Provinces of Jilin and Liaoning.

    The Afghanistan Agriculture Information Portal (AAIP) is a web data dissemination platform for crop production statistics and crop conditions. It manages spatial (satellite images and thematic layers) and non-spatial data (crop, climatic and hydrologic) that national or sub-national institutions generate or collect regarding crop monitoring. It aims to provide this information useful for decision-making by top management, farmers and other stakeholders in a country like Afghanistan where more than 80% of people.

    The land fragmentation in Bulgaria is a big problem after the land restitution. As a result of the implementation of the activities according to the Law on Ownership and use of agricultural land, land reallocation plans by Territories Belonging to Settlements (TBSs) were drawn up and came into force for the entire territory of the country. There were established about 10 million land properties, belonging to approximate 2 million owners, which means that the average area of a property is about 0,6 ha, including perennial plantations, meadows, and pastures.
