    This Act establishes rules on electronic spatial data infrastructure operated and made available to the public. It includes metadata, spatial data sets, network services and network technologies, agreements on access and use as well as provision of spatial data sets, coordination and monitoring mechanisms, processes and procedures.This Act contains provisions implementing parts of the European Parliament and Council Directive 2007/2/EC of 14 March 2007 establishing an Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community (INSPIRE).

    This Act promotes sustainable development and management of agricultural land in regards to the preservation of environmental and landscape values. All agricultural land in rural and urban areas listed with farming obligation, must be used for agricultural purposes. The Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries shall determine which plant species are considered unfitted due to risk of crops damaging. Owners or operators of agricultural lands shall keep their land free from trees and shrubs.
