    Chemical composition of 28 selected species of meadow herbs on the abandoned grassland was observed in a 3-year period of vegetation in the temperate locality with mainly cold winters of the central part of Slovakia (Strážov Hills, locality Chvojnica, elevation 600 m. From dicotyledonous plants there were analyzed 6 legumes and 16 other species, and from less significant grass species there were analyzed 6 species in the growth phase from the flower buds formation up to the flowering.     There was observed one-off effect of high nitrogen dose (1,000 kg per ha N) on the floristical composition of the Lolio-Cynosuretum R. Tx. 1937 association in the locality Chvojnica in the Strážovské vrchy during the four-year period (1997-2000). The high nitrogen dose supported only spread of four nitrophilous grass species (Dactylis glomerata L., Festuca pratensis HUDS., Festuca rubra L. and Deschampsia cespitosa L. P. B.) within the grassland. These species took up 89% of the share towards the end of experiment. Just three herbs species (Acetosella vulgaris FOURR., Cruciata glabra L.

    This Act lays down rules governing (i) the marketing of fertilizers, cultivating substrates and soil additive substances; (ii) registration of fertilizers; (iii) storage and use of fertilizers; (iv) agrochemical examination of agricultural lands and assessment of soil properties of forest areas.     Nowadays it is necessary to process geographic data about landscape in a digital way. It is possible to analyse selected data and approach to decision and proposition-making process of landscaping based on analysis of these results. The LANDEP methodics provides us verified procedures of primary landscape structures assesment and landscaping. Digitalization of selected landscape elements increases processing efficiency, mainly for time reasons. Creation of complex landscape plans of cadastral areas at Slovakia should become a basic priority of every commune.

    The paper solves evaluation of current state of accessing the forest with forest road network in the forest management unit Čierny Váh, evaluatation the state of forest roads, point out shortcomings in accessing the forest and eventually propose optimal solutions to improve the situation in the area of interest. Thesis describes natural conditions of the area of interest.
