    This Act makes provision with respect to the management, use and maintenance of irrigation systems. It establishes the National Irrigation Commission and defines its functions and powers. The Commission is established as a body corporate and shall be an independent department of the Government under the Ministry responsible for irrigation. The Commission shall be responsible for coordination, promotional and regulatory functions in the development of the irrigation sector.

    This Law regulates social relations concerning use of pastures. The principles of use of pastures shall be as follows: (a) efficient and complex management of pastures; (b) protection of pastures and environment; (c) correspondence of national and regional interests; (d) transparency related to the use of pastures; (e) accessibility of pastures to natural and legal persons; and (f) creation of favorable conditions for investments related to improvement of the efficiency of pastures management. All pastures in the Republic of Tajikistan shall be national property.

    These Requirements apply to business entities that perform land survey practices (land survey, mapping, and topographic, geodetic, cartographic, design surveys) for the purpose of drawing up land survey documentation. Land surveyors shall be provided with geodetic and computer equipment and devices in order to ensure precise and complying with established standards mapping of the territory. Copy of land survey documentation shall be submitted free of charge to the State Land Cadastre Service.

It consists of four articles: Purpose (1); Definition of terms (2); Main provisions (3); and Control and liability for obligations regarding soil cultivation (4). Re-cultivation is required for impaired soil, among others, by extraction of minerals, installing pipelines, demolishing premises, waste disposal sites etc.
