The Directions concern, among other things: registration of sites; specification of waste that may be deposited at sites; planning, construction and decommissioning of sites; operation, access and monitoring of sites; reporting; closure and rehabilitation of site; and leasing and alienation of sites. The Directions also provide for punishment of offences.
