What to be done and why? To Empower Pastoralist communities in Ngorongoro, Karatu and Monduli to be aware of Laws and policies that govern land ownership and inheritance in Tanzania. Increase number of Indigenous women who have access, control land benefits from land resources ownership. Enable land disputes resolutions among land users in different levels and increase respect for human rights/ancestral land rights of Indigenous pastoralists. Land insecurity of the Indigenous peoples, land disputes among land users, local authorities and private companies who own hunting blocks, exclusion of indigenous people in decision making , challenges in policies and laws governing land and conservation areas. Direct beneficiaries: Pastoralist communities specifically, women, youth, village council and traditional leaders Expected impact Increase number of Indigenous women who have access, control land benefits from land resources ownership. Facilitates for registration and distribution of Customary Certificates of Right of Occupancy CCROs to 100 women Facilitates Land conflicts resolution dialogues between pastoralists and other land users Land conflicts management mechanisms at the village, ward and district level Implementing partners: TPCF is the implementing partner. Dans la continuité de la phase 1 du projet Accès à la terre, au développement agricole endogène et la construction de la paix par la mobilisation citoyenne de la population
