A OMPI, através desta atividade, pretende celebrar e tornar amplamente conhecida a criatividade dos jovens indígenas e das comunidades locais, bem como conscientizar os jovens sobre como os direitos de autor podem ser utilizados por eles para proteger sua criatividade expressada nas fotografias.

A Organização das Nações Unidas para a Alimentação e a Agricultura (FAO, na sigla em inglês) revelou um novo relatório que destaca a degradação do estado do solo, terra e água. O diretor-geral da organização, QU Dongyu, escreveu, no prefácio do relatório de síntese, que as pressões nestes ecossistemas “são agora intensas, e muitos estão sob stress até um ponto crítico”.
