Field, policy and technical experience in Laos, Mongolia, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda. Currently leading Mokoro's Women's Land Tenure Security (WOLTS) Project. Recent past assignments include capacity building and training work on gender and responsible governance of land tenure to support the implementation of the Voluntary Guidelines on the Responsible Governance of Tenure of Land, Fisheries and Forests in the Context of National Food Security; field research on large land-based investments in agriculture in Laos and Tanzania; a mid-term evaluation of a pioneering women’s land rights and legal empowerment project in Mozambique; strategic advice on systematic land registration pilots in Nigeria; research on pastoral women's land rights in Tanzania; and global policy work on women and family farming.
