A wetland in southeast Iraq, thought to be the biblical Garden of Eden and almost completely drained during Saddam Hussein's rule, has become a UNESCO world heritage site, Iraqi authorities said on Sunday.

The Arab Union of Surveyors aims to promote cooperation, coordination and communication among surveyors in the Arab countries.

The politics of Iraq place in a framework of a federal parliamentary representative democratic republic.
