Global Rangelands, Rangelands West, and the state rangelands sites are a collective effort (called The Rangelands Partnership) by 19 western land-grant universities collaborating with international partners. We have a unique interaction among rangeland specialists and librarians... Yes really, librarians and range folks! We've come together with our technology experts to bring you these comprehensive and specialized collections and resources. This is your destination for current research, decision-making tools, and training materials for sustaining the worlds vast rangelands.

The Pastoral Development Network represents a world-wide network of researchers, administrators and extension personnel interested in the issues of pastoralism and rangelands. Between 1976 and 1996 the PDN was managed by ODI and published regular mailings including newsletters and a wide ranging series of papers on pastoralism and related issues. There were also a number of other related publications.
