The Commission was established by the he Crofters (Scotland) Act 1955.
The present Ordinance implements the Land Consolidation Act in its version of 16 March 1976. In particular, the Ordinance appoints the various authorities and offices responsible for the efficient enforcement of the afore-mentioned Act. The text consists of 4 articles.
The present Law lays down provisions relating to expropriation proceedings. In particular, the Law applies to all expropriation, take-over and related compensation proceedings in the Land Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in so far as Federal or regional law is not applicable.
The present Law implements the Federal Land Parcel Act (BGBl. I p. 1091) of 28 July 1961. Article 1 establishes that the sale of land up to a size of 0.25 hectare does not require any authorization according to the aforementioned Federal Act. The text consists of 2 articles.

This Act provides for the expropriation and taking for use of land and other property (movable or immovable), by the Minister of Public Works (in certain cases including an executive committee) or by certain local authorities, for public and certain other purposes.
