The present Law applies to all expropriations carried out on the domain of the Canton. The expropriation right shall be enforced in the interest of the Canton, or part of it, or of local authorities.
The present Law implements the Federal Soil Act of 4 October 1991. The text consists of 13 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: Competent authorities (I); Completing cantonal legislation (II); Right of appeal (III); Final provisions (IV).
