   This Order declares the local government district of North Down and the remaining part of the local government district of Ards to be compulsory registration areas under the Land Registration (Northern Ireland) Act 1970. The local government district of North Down and the whole of each of the wards listed in the Schedule will become compulsory registration areas upon the commencement of this Order on 1st May 2000. The type of property transaction which triggers a compulsory registration within those areas is defined by entry 2 of Schedule 2 to the aforesaid Act.

   This Decree Law is composed of 8 articles. Article 1 defines requirements and conditions for the possession and acquisition of lands and buildings by physical and juristic citizens from Countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Article 3 deals with the transfer of the ownership of lands acquired in accordance with this Decree Law. Articles 5 and 6 pertain to the expropriation and registration of lands acquired by citizens of the GCC.

   This Decree, consisting of 53 articles divided into eight Parts, regulates State Land Lease or Concession. It determines the principles, procedures, and measures regarding granting of state land for lease or concession with the aim to ensure the uniform management and use throughout the country, to boost the development of state land, to turn land into capital, to promote the investment for cash crop production and for services, and to build income for the state budget.

   This Decree, consisting of 19 articles divided into six Parts, defines principles, rules, and measures to mitigate adverse social impacts and to compensate damages that result from involuntary acquisition or repossession of land and fixed or movable assets, including change in land use, restriction of access to community or natural resources affecting community livelihood and income sources.

   This Decree establishes special legal status and the modalities of allotment of plots of land to the participants of special industrial zones. The aforesaid land plots shall be transferred on condition of temporary land tenure for the period of 30 years, i.e. for the period of functioning of industrial zones as stated by decrees and other decisions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Infrastructure and production sites shall be located on site in accordance with land-use planning schemes.

It shall be applicable to industrial land areas and non-agricultural land. It contains information related to the modalities of organization of tenders and information of the applicants of available land plots.
