In 2014-2015, the Asian Farmers Association for Sustainable Rural Development (AFA) implemented a project entitled “Popularizing the VGGT Among Small Scale Farmers Organizations, Relevant National Government and Inter-governmental Organizations” with the support of the International Land Coalition (ILC).

As part of a national experiment in 2008, Chengdu prefecture implemented ambitious property rights reforms, including complete registration of all land together with measures to ease transferability and eliminate migration restrictions. Cambodia’s rice harvests have been
rising significantly since 2005, powered by improved and
expanded irrigation and attractive farm gate prices. In
2010, the Cambodian government announced an export target of
1.0 million tons of milled rice by 2015. This analysis,
