These Regulations implement Commission Regulation (EC) No 1122/2009, which establishes cross-compliance requirements under Council Regulation (EC) No 73/2009. They set out the requirements for claimants of subsidy under the single payment scheme. The requirements are set out in Schedule 1, and Schedule 2 lists exceptions from those requirements.

This Act concerns national parks and other protected areas and access to the countryside. The provisions of this Part of this Act shall have effect for the purpose of conserving and enhancing the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of the protected areas. The Act provides for establishment, management and conservation of national parks and nature reserves and for compulsory acquisition of land for purposes of this Act. The Act also concerns public rights of way and access to open country.

The Act concerns the setting aside of land as a national park and for the appointment by the Minister of the Board of Trustees, which shall control, manage and maintain national parks. The Board shall be a body corporate. It may in national parks, among other things: take measures that will ensure the preservation and security of animals and vegetation and set aside parts of a park as breeding places for animals or nurseries for vegetation. The Act also provides rules for the hunting of animals or the damaging or gathering of plants in a national park.

The purpose of this Regulation is to determine lands that could be used for other than agricultural purposes when needed and to determine lands of with a potential high level of agricultural production. The Regulation sets forth provisions on cadastre, land registration, actions to be taken for protection of environment, land leveling by determining all vegetative production areas including meadow and pastures, preventive measures for erosion, efficient use of lands, drainage network, land valuation and land parceling, in the field of land consolidation.

The forest lands owned by the State or owned by collectives, may be used by the entity or individuals for forestry production.

Le présent décret crée et délimite un périmètre d'amélioration pastorale d'El Gaâda El Kbira (commune rurale des Ouled Abdoune, cercle de Khouribga-province de Khouribga). La création de cette zone vise à limiter la dégradation des pâturages et en assurer la reconstitution en vue d’une exploitation rationnelle. Par ailleurs, les associations d’élevage constituées dans les limites de ce périmètre antérieurement à la publication de ce décret doivent être déclarés aux administratives locales.

Regional Law No. 122 “On ensuring fertility of agricultural land”.

Sea-shore Act.

This Act provides for the management and conservation of the sea-shore meaning the water and the land between the low-water mark and the high-water mark. Subject to the provisions of this Act, the State President shall be the owner of the sea-shore and the sea, except of any portion thereof which was lawfully alienated before the commencement of this Act or may be alienated hereafter under this Act or under any other law. The Minister may, on such conditions as he may deem expedient, let any portion of the sea-shore and the sea for specified purposes.

The scope of this Regional Law shall be to ensure fertility of agricultural land by owners, landlords, land tenants and leaseholders. The main arrangements for ensuring soil fertility shall be: (a) elaboration and realization of regional programs; (b) soil, agrochemical, phytosanitary, ecological and toxicological inspection; (c) investments in soil conservation and reproduction; and (d) improvement of soil quality and fertility.
