The Ordinance consists of 45 sections divided into 6 Parts: Preliminary (I), Town Planning Schemes (II); Powers of Local Authorities (III); Compensation for injurious affection and claims for increase in value (IV); Purchase and compulsory acquisition of land (V); Miscellaneous (VI).The Town Planning Board is constituted under section 3. Upon application of the Board or any local authority, the Governor may constitute town planning areas under section 5. Development on land in town planning areas requires a permission of the local authority under section 6.

Brisbane Forest Park Act 1977.

The Act establishes the Brisbane Forest Park and provides for its management. It is divided in 7 Parts (91 sections). Part 2 specifies which land can become part of the park and the effects on proprietors’ rights of land’s inclusion in the park (sect. 11). Part 3 constitutes the Brisbane Forest Park Advisory Planning Board and specifies its composition, operation, functions and powers. Part 4 establishes the Brisbane Forest Park Administration Authority, a corporation sole constituted by the Minister, responsible for the management of the park.

This Act provides principally for the control on the development of land and the planning of development in the Cayman Islands. For this and other purposes, it establishes the Central Planning Authority and the Development Control Board. The Act also concerns acquisition and disposal of land for planning purposes. The Board or the Authority, as the case may be, shall assess and grant permission for proposed development.

This Act concerns response and relief in case of man-made or natural disasters and emergencies affecting the Northern Mariana Islands. The Governor-General shall be the principal authority for purposes of response to disasters and emergencies. Disasters shall include flood, water contamination and oil spills. the Governor-general may declare a state of disaster emergency and may make Executive Orders related to the declaration of a state of disaster emergency.

This Legislative Decree amends Legislative Decree No. 5 of 1971 concerning the transportation and taking away of sand, pebbles and stones necessary for filling up of wetlands and for construction operations as follows: (a) all competencies provided for in Legislative Decree No. 5 of 1971 shall be entrusted to the Chief of the Temporary Central Municipality Authority instead of to the Chief of Agriculture and Municipalities; and (b) a new paragraph shall be added concerning procedures for starting legal proceedings against transgressors.

This Legislative Decree aims at soil and environment protection. This Legislative Decree is composed of 6 articles. Article 1 defines the zones from which it may be allowed to take away or transport sand, pebbles and stones in accordance with Ancient Law of 1970. Article 2 prohibits transportation or taking away of sand, pebbles and stones unless a previous licence from the Agriculture and Municipalities Department has been obtained. Article 3 defines the requirements and conditions for the transportation of the aforementioned materials. Article 4 contains offences and penalties.

The aim of this Law is to regulate land development. This Law is composed of 11 articles and 2 Annexes. Article 1 deals with terms and definitions. Article 2 prohibits carrying out any operation of land development unless a handwritten permit from the Coordination and Planning Council has been obtained. Articles 3-7 pertain to the following: (a) submittal of applications for land development; (b) approval of applications; and (c) validity of the permit. Articles 8 and 9 contain offences and penalties.

This Decree-Law, composed of 39 articles, rules on State’s withdrawal from the management of production units. To this end, it stipulates that the Government shall implement development programmes, as well as define the guidelines for the zoning of the production units to be assigned. The Decree-Law indicates the procedures for State withdrawal, the applicable concession regime, the forbidden property concessions, and the admitted applicants.
