This Instrument, made by the Minister responsible for local government by section 48A of the Local Governments Act (as amended by the Local Governments (Amendment) Act, 2005), specifies functions of a town board. A town board shall, among other things, be engaged in waste management, urban planning and control of stray animals.

These Regulations, made under section 45 of the Local Council Courts Act, 2006, provide with respect to the composition, management, operation, jurisdiction and procedure of the Local Council Courts and provide for some other matters such as fees and costs to be awarded by the courts. The Regulations also provide for appeal against decisions of local courts.

In a single article, these Regulations provide that no Land Control Board shall consent to divisions and subdivisions of any agricultural land into two or more parcels to be held under separate titles if the size of any of the parcels after divisions or subdivision will be less than one hectare.

These Regulations set out forms and define procedures for specified proceedings and applications with the Administrative Court in relation with the acquisition of land under the Land Acquisition Act.

The authorities set out in the First Schedule are hereby appointed as the planning authorities for the respective areas described in that Schedule.

The functions of the Minister under section 25 of the Town and Country Planning Act, in so far as these powers relate to the grant or refusal of permission to subdivide for agricultural purposes agricultural land situated outside areas subject to a development plan or approved development plan are hereby delegated to the National Environmental Council established under the Environmental Protect

These Regulations provide for registration of charges created upon farming stock, additional assets or other agricultural assets under the Agricultural Credits Act.

These Regulations provide for various matters in respect of authorization and registration of land valuation surveyors and the Valuation Surveyors Registration Board, so as to implement provisions of the Valuation Surveyors Act.

These Regulations prescribe forms for purposes of the Lands Acquisition Act. The Schedule includes: notice of intention to acquire property, notice to yield up possession, notice of intention to acquire property and notice to yield up possession, and application for entry in register recording compulsory acquisition.

These Rules make further provision for procedural requirements fin relation with an application for new tenancy made under section 4 of the Landlord and Tenant Act and various other applications under sections 12 (order for a new tenancy), 18 (revocation of an order), 28 (determination of rent)and 7 (rent) of the Act.

The annual rent to be paid for a lease of an agricultural holding issued in accordance with the provisions of Part III of the Act shall be four and one-half percent of the value of the unimproved land comprised in the holding.
