The text consist of 26 sections divided into 4 Parts: Introductory (I); Control of Hill Land (II); Control of Silt and Erosion (III); General (IV).The Governor of a State may declare any area to be hill land for purposes of this Act. Such an area shall be registered and various activities within hill land are prohibited or restricted. Cultivation of short term crops is prohibited and other cultivation restricted. Hill land may be cleared with permission of the Collector as defined in section 2, for purpose of cultivation and for purposes of fighting weeds.

Regulation No. 224 on the procedures for creating the agricultural land ownership titles resulting from the corrections done by the Local Commission of the Ownership Titles’ Evaluations.

This Regulation defines the procedure to be followed and the documentation to be submitted to the local commission whenever a correction of the agricultural land ownership title is required. After receiving the request, the local commission contacts the responsible municipality and regional structures and takes a final decision upon the administrative review.

Decree No. 28 of State Property Committee validating the Regulation on cadastre valuation of agricultural land and updating its data.

This Decree establishes the modalities of cadastre valuation of agricultural land and updating its data related to plots of agricultural land allotted to agricultural organizations, including peasant farms and for subsistence farming purposes. Cadastre valuation of agricultural land shall be conducted on 1 January of the year of performance of cadastre valuation. Cadastre valuation of agricultural land shall be performed by initiative of State Property Committee at least once in 10 years.

These Regulations amend the Development and Planning Regulations (2006 revision) in a various provisions concerning planning and building permissions on residential and agricultural land. Some requirements also concern construction in coastal zones. They also concern "planned area developments", i.e. master planned developments of large tracts of land that provide for a mix of land uses, densities and open space. A planned area development may be considered when a proposed master plan is submitted to the Central Planning Authority for approval.
