Pour la première fois de son histoire, la République du Congo élabore un cadre juridique encadrant la foresterie communautaire. Clear and coherent laws are key to successful community forestry.The Republic of Congo is currently developing its first legal framework on community forestry — presenting policymakers with a unique opportunity to design an enabling and comprehensive legal framework that empowers communities. This briefing outlines key areas the framework should be built on, including five that should be addressed as a priority.

This report;based on primary and secondary data;highlights the link between land and inequality in Uganda.  It underscores the need to review policies;laws and regulations governing institutions and practices in the realm of land ownership;access;use and management;and to allocate enough resources to secure land rights. The report looks at factors that have had an impact on poverty and vulnerability;and how policies;laws;regulations and cultural practices can be made more inclusive.

Includes: why a focus on corporate accountability?; communities at the frontline; corporations: the accountability challenge; the way forward: legislative and policy opportunities; recommendations: action on accountability. Argues that devastating human rights violations will continue to occur with impunity unless we move beyond voluntary approaches and bring in a legally binding treaty on business and human rights. The size;influence and complexity of corporations pose major challenges for states to hold them to account. Impunity regarding human rights abuses by companies is increasing.

Combining both written analysis and video interviews;this ‘longreaddetails the impacts on women’s lives of three approaches developed by IIED partners in Tanzania;Ghana and Senegal to reinforce land governance structure in rural communities to make them gender-inclusive.

Argues that companies come prepared to take over the land;and communities in West and Central Africa must prepare to resist. This summary examines the challenges orphan children face in securing their land rights that affects their status during land registration. Particularly;the current practice of LIFTs implementation of procedures for registering deceased landholders parcels and its impact on single orphans. เนื่องจากได้มีการประกาศใช้พระราชบัญญัติป่าชุมชน อย่างสมบูรณ์แบบแล้ว โดยออกประกาศในราชกิจจานุเบกษา เมื่อวันที่ 29 พฤษภาคม 2562 นับว่าสิ้นสุดการรอคอยอย่างยาวนานราว 30 ปี นับแต่ได้เริ่มมีการจุดประเด็นให้มีการออกกฎหมายป่าชุมชนเป็นครั้งแรก  ซึ่งมีผลให้ใช้บังคับตั้งแต่วันถัดจากวันประกาศ คือเริ่มบังคับใช้ตั้งแต่วันที่ 30 พฤษภาคม 2562 เป็นต้นไป ซึ่งภาคประชาชนต้องให้ความสำคัญในการเตรียมความพร้อมและดำเนินการตามขั้นตอนเพื่อได้มาเพื่อสิทธิการใช้ประโยชน์อย่างถูกต้องตามกฏหมาย
