This Decision approves the master plan on socio-economic development of Cao Bang province through 2020, with a vision toward 2025 (below referred to as the master plan) with the following principal contents: 1. ... This study was intended to find out the benefits of forests, especially for non-wood forest products (NWFPs), to forestdependent local people and the relation to their socio-economic status. Sampling (169 respondents) was chosen to be an equal distribution of household’s economic status. The survey was conducted face to face with structural interviews using both open-and closed-ended questions. The results showed that bamboo and bamboo shoot were considered as the most collected NWFPs in the Bago Yoma region.

The 19th Conference of Parties (COP) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) was held in Warsaw, Poland, 11–22 November 2013. The outcomes of COP 19 are expected to have a significant impact on developments in the field of forests and climate change over the coming year. In view of this, forest sector stakeholders in the Asia-Pacific region require succinct and accurate information on the implications of COP 19 discussions and their significance to forest policy decisions and practice.
เมื่อวันที่ 19-21 มีนาคม 2557 ที่ผ่านมา ศูนย์วนศาสตร์ชุมชนเพื่อคนกับป่า - ประเทศไทย ร่วมกับองค์กรภาคีจัดการประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการระดับชาติ "ก้าวต่อไป ยุทธศาสตร์และแนวทางความร่วมมือในงานวนศาสตร์ชุมชนในประเทศไทย" ขึ้น ณ สถานีโทรทัศน์ไทยพีบีเอส กรุงเทพฯ และอุทยานแห่งชาติเขาใหญ่ นครราชสีมา โดยรายงานเล่มนี้ได้รวบรวมรายละเอียดของการประชุมดังกล่าวไว้อย่างครบถ้วน เหมาะสำหรับผู้ที่สนใจและติดตามทิศทางการดำเนินงานของงานวนศาสตร์ชุมชนในประเทศไทยต่อไปในอนาคต
