This Act makes provision for the reservation of land as protected areas and for the appointment of the Director of National Parks, defines powers and functions of the Director and grants regulation-making powers to the Head of State.The Head of State may commit to the care, control and management of the Director an area that has been reserved or is deemed to be reserved under section 49 of the Land Act 1996 for the purposes of: (a) the recreation and amusement of the public; (b) a national park; (c) a botanical or zoological garden; (d) a reserve or sanctuary for the protection of flora or

The Albanian National Land Consolidation Strategy is a national strategy with a cross-sectoral approach. The timeframe is a 15 year period from 2014 to 2028, divided into three major phases. The Strategy promotes the creation of economically viable, competitive and sustainable family farms. The overall aim is to contribute to sustainable development and to enhance the agricultural sector in an inclusive and gender and socially equitable manner, so as to ensure food security, alleviation of poverty and the rational use of natural resources.

The Strategy for the Development of the Forestry and Pastures Sector in Albania is a national strategy with a sectoral approach, whose objectives are: a) protection of forests, pastures and biodiversity; b) encouragement and maintenance of the sustainable management of forests and pastures; c) consolidation of linkages with the market economy; d) involvement of local stakeholders and users in the development of the forestry sector; e) institutional and legal reform of the forestry sector at national and local level.

These Regulations implement Directive 2001/42/EC of the European Parliament and Council on the assessment of the effects of certain plans and programs on the environment, as regards plans and programs which relate solely to the whole or any part of Scotland. Subject to the exceptions, where the first formal preparatory act in relation to a plan or program to which the Regulations apply is after 21 July 2004, the plan or program cannot be adopted, or submitted for adoption, unless it has been subjected to environmental assessment under the Regulations.

These Measures are formulated in accordance with the provisions in the Water and Soil Conservation Law, aiming to prevent and control water and soil loss, protect and rationally utilize water and soil resources, reduce flood, drought, sandstorm disasters, improve the ecological environment, and ensure the sustainable economic and social development. The Text consists of 28 Articles.The municipal water administrative department shall carry out the investigation of soil and water loss every five years and shall make a public announcement of the results according to law.

This Law may be cited as the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (Amendment) Law of 2008 and shall be read as one with the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control Law of 2003-2006 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Law”). The principal Law and the present Law shall be read as one and will be referred to as the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control Laws of 2003-2008.

This Law provides for general town and country planning and provides rules relative to development in Jersey. It also provides for the protection of trees. The purpose of the Law is to conserve, protect and improve Jersey’s natural beauty, natural resources and general amenities, its character, and its physical and natural environments. An application for planning permission to carry out prescribed development under this Law shall be taken to include any environmental impact statement relating to the application prepared and provided in accordance with provisions of this Law.
