This Act amends the Custom and Adopted Laws Act 1971 in section 6 and the First Schedule. These amendments concern the adoption of English Statutes in Nauru and adoption of common law of England regarding: (a) liability for criminal offences; (b) the contractual and tortious liability of infants; and (c) the interpretation and effect of Statutes, subject to the provisions of section 5 of the principal Act.
