This Act empowers the Minister to declare any land settlement scheme to be a public work under section 3 of the Acquisition of Land for Public Purposes Act.
This Act provides for the power of the Minister to declare works as public works and land as land required for public works. The land affected by such a declaration order vests in the State at the expiration of one month after the date of the order.
