The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

This Order amends the Planning (General Development Procedure) Order (Northern Ireland) 2015 by substituting a new schedule 3 to take account of the restructuring of Government Departments as a consequence of the Departments Act 2016 and the Departments (Transfer of Functions) Order (Northern Ireland) 2016. This reflects the consequent revised roles and responsibilities of planning authorities and statutory consultees in the development management process of the planning system. This Regional Decree establishes the modalities of performance of municipal land control by local government. Municipal land control shall be conducted in the form of ordinary and extraordinary inspections of legal persons and individual entrepreneurs. The subject of inspection shall be checking data and information contained in the documentation related to land tenure, to ensure availability and conservation of landmarks.
