This Act lays down principles of protection of agricultural and forest land, recultivation and improvement of land quality. Agricultural lands are protected by: limitation of their allocation for other purposes; prevention from degradation and devastation; recultivation; and preservation of peat areas and natural water reservoirs. Forest lands are protected by: limitation of their allocation for other purposes; prevention from degradation and devastation; restoration of land value; and prevention from reduction of productivity.

The Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development lays down some amendments to the Regulation amending the Regulation establishing record keeping of waters, water reclamation equipment and reclaimed land. In particular, the present Regulation amends the scope of data used to update the record on waters, water reclamation equipment and reclaimed land, originally specified in art. 6 of the amended Regulation.

This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, which is composed of five articles and one Annex, lays down veterinary requirements for the marketing and disposal of organic fertilizers and soil improvers specified in art. 3 point 22 of the Regulation (EC) No. 1069/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down health rules as regards animal by-products and derived products not intended for human consumption and repealing Regulation (EC) No. 1774/2002 (Animal by-products Regulation).

These Rules amend the Land Registration Rules 2012: on the acquisition of easements and profits by prescription (rule 46); in the provisions for the registration of judgment mortgages pursuant to Section 116 of the Land and Conveyancing Law Reform Act 2009, to specifically include judgments of the Supreme Court, provide for the registration of judgment mortgages in execution of judgments of the courts of Member States of the European Community; add new Forms 60A and 60B to the Schedule; modify Forms 3, 17, 37, 38, 39, 64, 84 and 96.
