The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

This Act concerns the protection of listed building and the designation and protection of conservation areas. Every local planning authority: (a) shall from time to time determine which parts of their area are areas of special architectural or historic interest the character or appearance of which it is desirable to preserve or enhance, and (b) shall designate those areas as conservation areas. The Secretary of State may from time to time determine any part of a local planning authority's area as a conservation area.
Ley Nº 26.894 - Prórroga de la Ley Nº 26.160, que declara la emergencia en materia de posesión y propiedad de las tierras que tradicionalmente ocupan las comunidades indígenas originarias del país.
En virtud de la presente Ley se prorrogan hasta el 23 de noviembre de 2017 los plazos establecidos en los artículos 1°, 2° y 3° de la Ley Nº 26.160, por la que se declaró la emergencia en materia de posesión y propiedad de las tierras que tradicionalmente ocupan las comunidades indígenas originarias del país. Dichos plazos se refieren a la suspensión de la ejecución de sentencias, actos procesales o administrativos, cuyo objeto sea el desalojo o desocupación de las tierras mencionadas.
Land Utilization and Settlement Rules, 1962 (Cap. 318).
These Rules, made under the Agriculture Act, concern land settlement and land allotment. The Land Development and Settlement Board shall administer: (a) the Tenant Farming Scheme; and (b) the Assisted Ownership Scheme. An application for participation in an approved settlement scheme shall be made in the form specified in the First Schedule to these Rules. Applicants shall meet certain requirements to be able to participate in a scheme. As for the Tenant Farming Scheme, the Board may allot land and grant leases to tenant farmers selected by the Board in accordance with these Rules.

Land (Amendment) Act 2013 (No. 1 of 2013).
This Act amends the Land Act (Cap. 132) in sections 30, 37, 38, 40 and 41 by repealing "convicted of an indictable offence" and replacing those words with "convicted of a criminal offence and sentenced to imprisonment for more than two years". Section 37 is further amended by adding a provision on suspension of sentence and its effects on loss of rights of inheritance. Sections 38 and 41 are further amended by repealing "conviction for an indictable offence" and replacing those words with "conviction of a criminal offence and sentenced to imprisonment for more than two years".
