Urban Lands Lease Holding Proclamation No. 721/2011.

This Proclamation provides for the lease of urban land. “Urban land” means land located within an administrative boundary of an urban center; “urban center” means any locality having a municipal administration or a population size of 2000 or more inhabitants of which at least 50% of its labor force is engaged in non-agricultural activities. This Proclamation shall be applicable to all urban centers with in Ethiopia with regard to urban land.

The present Law enforces the Federal Spatial Information Act of 5 October 2007. In particular, the Law lays down provisions relating to the enforcement of federal legislation in the field of geographic information and the collection, management and use of spatial data for the area of the canton Basel-Stadt. Furthermore, the Law creates conditions for a cantonal spatial data infrastructure. The text consists of 25 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Principles (2); Official survey (3); Organization (4); Modification and repeal (5). One Annex is enclosed.

This Regional Law establishes the cases and the procedure of allotment free of charge in ownership to citizens having three and more children of the plots of land pertaining to state and municipal property, and it also establishes minimum and maximum land area (dimensions) of such land plots. The aforesaid plots of land shall be allotted for individual residential housing construction and subsidiary smallholding.

This Regional Law sets forth the modalities of allotment in ownership by purchase or free of charge of plots of land pertaining to public and municipal property to multi-child families, and also establishes minimum and maximum land areas of the aforesaid plots of land. Multi-child family shall be considered family with three or more children less than 18 years of age. The aforesaid plots of land in inhabited areas shall be allotted for housing construction and subsistence family farming. Allotment of the aforesaid plots of land shall be performed once-only.

Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus, the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Government Ukraine on the establishment of a transboundary biosphere reserve "Western Polesie".

The purpose of this Agreement is to create a transboundary biosphere reserve "West Polesie", consisting of three national biosphere reserves, and cooperation on protection and sustainable development of the region in conformity with UNESCO's "Man and the Biosphere" (MAB) program. The Parties shall promote cooperation in the field of protection and sustainable use of biological and landscape diversity of the transboundary biosphere reserve "Western Polesie”.
