I am a social anthropologist working on issues of economy and ecology. I did research in Cameroon (agriculture in the very north of the country) and in Zambia (in the Kafue Flats between 2002 and 2010 on the management of common pool resources (fisheries, wildlife, pasture and land) among the Ila, Balundwe and Batwa)). There are four book and numerous papers on the issue of institutional change regarding the management of these resources in this and other floodplains in Africa. I also work on land grabbing and participatory resource management topics. In addition, I work on mining and other land and environment related issues.
