Laureano del Castillo is a Peruvian lawyer with extensive experience in land, water and rural development legislation in national, public, private and social institutions. He is currently executive director of the Peruvian Center for Social Studies (CEPES). He has been president of the Institute for the Promotion of Water Management (IPROGA) and the Permanent Seminar on Agricultural Research (SEPIA). He was Co-Chairman of the International Land Coalition (ILC) Council from 2009 to 2011.
