Who is involved?
The Namibian Compact aims to increase the competence of the Namibian workforce through knowledge and skills, as well as to increase the productivity of agricultural and nonagricultural enterprises in rural areas.
Britain's American colonies broke with the mother country in 1776 and were recognized as the new nation of the United States of America following the Treaty of Paris in 1783. IEB will work with the Nature and Culture International (NCI) and the Indigenous Council of Roraima (CIR) to improve territorial governance and environmental management of Indigenous Lands in Roraima and develop a sustainable cattle production chain to improve indigenous' income while conserving their territories, reducing illegal and unsustainable practices currently occurring. Activities are focused on developing and implementing territory-wide Environmental and Management Plans (PGTAs) in the entire Raposa Serra do Sol Indigenous Land (1.7 million hectares). Benefited people include: Wapichana Macuxi, Sapar, Taurepang, Ingarik, Wai-Wai and Patamona
