El presente Reglamento consta de 6 títulos, 163 artículos, 7 disposiciones complementarias y 2 transitorias.

Le présent décret porte création de l'institut national des sols, de l'irrigation et du drainage (I.N.S.I.D.), chargé de procéder à l'inventaire des ressources en terres agricoles et mettre en oeuvre un programme d'actions d'aménagement en vue de leur mise en valeur et préservation.

This Resolution is composed of 11 articles. Terms and definitions are contained in article 1. Disposal of agricultural land shall be used for agricultural utilizations or investment (art. 2). The construction of buildings on agricultural land shall be prohibited as well as the issuance of building licences on agricultural land unless for the construction of mosques, restaurants, rest-houses, groceries or fuel stations on public roads, public utilities, agricultural and industrial facilities and construction of buildings for the landlord and his employees (art. 3).

The Rule provides for the issuance of a reclamation fee which must be paid by the owner of land irrigated by a system of intertwined canals.

This Order establishes the Lesotho Highlands Development Authority as a body corporate and provides with respect to its functions, powers, administration and operation. The Act also concerns development of Lesotho Highlands and ancillary development matters such as water management and conservation, regulation of fisheries and protection of the environment.

The Rules concern the growing, processing, purchase and marketing of coffee. They shall apply to all coffee growing in Kenya. Geographical restrictions are placed on the growing of (a type of) coffee. The Kenya Coffee Board, in granting licences under the Coffee Act, shall have regard to the potential benefits in terms of development that the granting of a licence may bring about.

Mediante este Decreto se crea la Comisión Nacional Honoraria de Conservación de Suelos y Aguas, organismo de integración mixta cuya misión es concretar el esfuerzo privado y público en la conservación de los suelos y las aguas con fines agropecuarios.

Implementa: Ley Nº 15.239 - Declara de interés nacional el uso y la conservación de los suelos y de las aguas superficiales destinadas a fines agropecuarios. (1981-12-23)

Pending adoption of comprehensive guidelines on land conversion to implement section 20 of the Local Government Code which gives powers to local government units to reclassify agricultural land in circumstance where such land ceases to be viable for agricultural purposes, these guidelines regulate place restrictions on conversion of agricultural lands. All irrigated land for cultivation and all land within areas programmed for irrigation facility rehabilitation by the Department of Agriculture and the National Irrigation Administration shall not be subject to conversion.

No person may discharge any effluent liquid onto land or use any effluent liquid for the irrigation of any land, without appoval by the appropriate health authority (sect. 3). No person may use any effluent liquid from any sewage-treatment installation or oxidation ponds for the irrigation of any land where crops for consumption are present (sect. 6). No person may use such liquid for the irrigation of any land within 200 metres of an occupied dwelling or 50 meters from any road using sprinklers, unless such liquids comply with standards as set out in the Schedule (sect. 7).

El Reglamento consta de 288 artículos y reglamenta las normas relacionadas con el recurso agua en todos sus estados. Declara, a tenor del artículo 1º del Decreto Nº 2811/74, de 18 de diciembre de 1974, que la preservación y manejo de las aguas son de utilidad pública. La administración y manejo del recurso hídrico corresponde al Instituto Nacional de los Recursos Naturales Renovables y del Ambiente (INDERENA), salvo cuando haya sido adscrita a otras entidades.

These Rules regulate activities in areas of Trust land declared to be irrigation areas by the Minister by Notice in the Official Gazette. The Minister may appoint irrigation committees for any irrigation area. Carrying on of any business, residence, grazing of stock in or occupation of any part of an irrigation area requires a licence from the manager appointed by the Minister for the relevant irrigation area.
