The aim of this Legislative Decree is to regulate the appropriation of lands and buildings by citizens of the Cooperation Council of Arab Gulf Countries. This Legislative Decree is composed of 8 articles. Article 1 lays down requirements and conditions for appropriation of lands and buildings by citizens of the Cooperation Council of Arab Gulf Countries. Articles 2-6 deal with the following matters: (a) time limit for the registration of lands; (b) transfer of ownership; and, (c) requirements and conditions for economic activities.

This Proclamation establishes the National Agency to Promote the Participation of Eritreans in the Ownership of Public Enterprises, defines its functions and powers and provides with respect to its administration. The Agency shall undertake, implement and ensure the participation of Eritreans living in Eritrea and abroad in national economic development activities through the direct transfer of ownership of Small Public Enterprises or of shares in Public Enterprises converted into share companies.

The present Law establishes legal basis of leasehold by foreign states and the amount of rent for foreign land tenure. Object of lease is public land that can be granted on lease to foreign states exclusively on lease (art. 1). Leasehold by foreign states is fixed-date charged land tenure. Area of lease, conditions of lease and the period of lease shall be determined by agreement between the parties (art. 2).

La presente Ley tiene por objeto el marco normativo relativo a la propiedad y la concesión de los hidrocarburos, los cuales pertenecen al dominio directo, inalienable e imprescriptible del Estado (art. 1º). Dentro de los 50 km de las fronteras nacionales, ningún extranjero podrá adquirir ni poseer propiedades inmuebles por ningún título, con la excepción del caso de necesidad nacional declarada mediante ley expresa.

La presente Ley sobre el régimen de propiedad de tierras de Guinea Ecuatorial, establece que se distinguirán las tierras según pertenezcan a particulares y entidades, o formen parte del patrimonio del Estado; estas últimas se dividirán en tierras de dominio publico y tierras de propiedad privada del Estado.

Decreto Legislativo Nº 1.073 - Modifica el artículo 10 de la Ley Nº 26.505, Ley de la inversión privada en el desarrollo de las actividades económicas en las tierras del territorio nacional y de las comunidades campesinas y nativas.

El presente Decreto Legislativo modifica la Ley que establece los principios generales necesarios para promover la inversión privada en el desarrollo de las actividades económicas en las tierras del territorio nacional y de las comunidades campesinas y nativas, respecto a la necesidad que las comunidades regularicen su organización comunal para la adquisición de las tierras comunales y dispongan del voto a favor de no menos del cincuenta por ciento de los comuneros posesionarios con más de un año.

Foreign legal or natural persons may acquire the ownership of real estates, other than arable land or protected natural area, after obtaining the permit of the responsible public administration office of Budapest or the county. The permit has to be issued if the acquisition of ownership by foreign persons does not hurt the local government's or other public interest, and if the buyer does comply with certain requisites. The issuance of a permit may be refused if Hungarian persons are not treated equally, in this regard, to local people in the country of origin of the buyer.

This Proclamation provides for a transparent and efficient administration of investment in Ethiopia and mitigating the impacts of environmental pollution relating to investment projects. Any investor shall have the obligation to observe the laws of the country in carrying out his investment activities. In particular, he or she shall give due regard to environmental protection. The provisions of this Proclamation may not be applicable to investments in the prospecting, exploration and development of minerals and petroleum resources. Investments may be made in the water sector.

In 2009, she shared the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences with Oliver E. Williamson for "her analysis of economic governance, especially the commons".
