Geological and Soil Surveys Act (Cap. 89).

This Act provides rules for the carrying out of geological surveys or soil surveys within a part or the whole of Seychelles. The Minister may order such surveys to be carried out and the President may appoint geological surveyor for such surveys. The Act defines powers and duties of a surveyor and provides for compensation of damage caused by a surveyor.

This Act establishes the Land Surveyors Board, provides for the licensing of land surveyors and disciplinary proceedings against land surveyors, defines the duties of land surveyors and provides rules for the carrying out of original surveys, re-surveys and division surveys of land and related matters.The Land Surveyors Board shall, among other things, keep a register of licensed surveyors and act as arbitrator in any dispute between a licensed surveyor and a client. Surveyors shall be licensed by a Licensing Authority as defined by this Act.

Cadastral Survey Act (Cap. 21).

This Act provides rules for the carrying out of cadastral surveys of the island of Mahé and of such other islands as may be approved by the Minister. Any person appointed by the President as cadastral surveyors shall have all the rights and privileges of a land surveyor licensed under the Land Survey Act. The Act sets out duties and powers of cadastral surveyors and all persons acting under their orders and prohibits obstruction of their work.

The present Law enforces the Federal Spatial Information Act of 5 October 2010. The Law lays down provisions relating to the enforcement of federal legislation in the field of geographic information and the collection, management and use of spatial data for the area of the canton Aargau. Furthermore, the Law creates conditions for a cantonal spatial data infrastructure.

This Regional Law establishes the modalities of calculation of lease, modalities and terms of payment of thereof for lease of land plots of public land set forth for different categories of public land. Lease payment shall be calculated in accordance with regional cadastre indices set forth for different categories of public land.

The Act principally concerns the registration of interests in land. This Act shall apply to: (a) registration of interests in all public land as declared by Article 62 of the Constitution; (b) registration of interests in all private land as declared by Article 64 of the Constitution; and (c) registration and recording of community interests in land.The National Land Commission in consultation with national and county governments may, by order in the Gazette, constitute an area or areas of land to be a land registration unit and may at any time vary the limits of any such units.

This Act, consisting of 173 sections divided into 13 Parts and completed by three Schedules, provides for the registration of title to land, easements and possessory titles. The Recorder of Titles, appointed by the Governor, is the statutory officer responsible for providing the community with certainty of title to land by the development and administration of legislation governing land dealings in Tasmania. The Act sets out procedures for bringing land under this Act.
