These Regulations introduce a new system of environmental permitting in England and Wales. They replace the existing system as defined by Part II of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (c. 43), the Waste Management Licensing Regulations 1994 and the Pollution Prevention and Control (England and Wales) Regulations 2000.

This Regional Law determines composition, elaboration and modification of the regional land-use planning scheme. Land-use planning project shall include regulations on territorial planning and mapping of objects projected for location, description and characteristics of land areas and names of urban, municipal districts and inhabited areas. Monitoring of land-use planning schemes shall include state of environment and environmental protection arrangements.

This Order amends the Development and Planning (General Development) Order 1999 in provisions concerning, among other things, requirements for development in respect of which permission is granted and in the Schedule in relation to permitted developments (subject to the limitations and conditions set out in this Schedule).

This Regulation establishes an Agricultural Drought Management Board aiming at monitoring, performing risk assessments and reducing the effects of agricultural drought. This Decree covers water management, agricultural techniques, seed and plant diversity, irrigation techniques, economic and social support, planning of pasture feeding and land use, pest management and any measures to implement urgent action and restrictions in arid and irrigated agricultural land. The Regulation covers rules and procedures on the functioning and duties of the Agricultural Drought Management Board.

This Order consolidates with amendments the permitted development provisions of the Town and Country Planning General Development Order 1988 and subsequent amending instruments.
