This study was conducted in Werii watershed (1797 km2) of Tekeze river basin, through integrative use of hydrological and climate models with the objective of estimating the impact of climate change on groundwater recharge and groundwater potentials.

This paper analyses gender differences in awareness and adoption of climate-smart agricultural (CSA) practices. It examines what factors are associated with the likelihood of adoption of a wide range of CSA practices for 376 women and 375 men in two different areas of Kenya.

Livestock value chains are an important source of employment, income and nutrition in developing countries. Increasing income has led to high demand for animal source products. Zoonotic diseases pose a public health risk to people producing, handling, processing and consuming animal products; with value chains creating a contact networks for transmission.
