This Law ensures constitutional right of the Moldova nationals to cultural activity and protection of cultural heritage. It regulates the issues of protection and management of cultural heritage. The Government shall have the duty to protect intellectual property rights that shall be protected by the law.

This Law regulates delimitation of public land and land pertaining to local self-government. The Act consists of 5 Sections divided into 11 articles: (1) general provisions; (2) public land; (3) land of local self-government; (4) transfer of the right of land ownership; (5) conclusive and transitional provisions.

Article 15 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Article 15. Allotment of land for non-agricultural and non-forestry purposes. State and municipal enterprises, institutions and organizations shall be allotted public land and municipal land.

In the Article 6 the wording “national natural and legal persons” shall be substituted by the wording “natural persons that are the nationals of the Republic of Moldova and legal persons without foreign investments”.

This Law establishes the modalities of calculation and terms and conditions of payment of single agricultural tax. Single agricultural tax shall be applicable to the producers of agricultural commodities and shall include immovable property tax and water charges. Agricultural producers shall be considered also owners or lessees of agricultural land.

The scope of this Law shall be to create stock of phytosanitary preparations and fertilizers and to ensure safe utilization thereof. It regulates the state testing and approbation, manufacturing, import, transport, storage and trade of the aforesaid means and safe utilization in relation to human and animal health, and also environment.

This Law regulates the activity of public municipal services, including water abstraction and supply of potable water, sewage and thermal energy supply. Plots of land required for rendering of public municipal services shall be expropriated and transferred under public ownership.

This Law shall have as its purpose to set legal grounds for lease in agriculture, and to establish rights and duties of lessors and lessees.

This Law regulates activities in the sphere of geodesy and cartography including: (a) distant zoning of the earth; and (b) mapping and demarcation of the state frontier, administrative boundaries and plots of land pertaining to private ownership. The object of geodetic and cartographic activity shall be national territory.

This Law establishes that consumer cooperative shall be autonomous and independent association of natural persons based on the principle of economic cooperation. Land allotted to consumer cooperatives shall maintain its legal status for the whole period of activity. The aforesaid land can be privatized or transferred in ownership of consumer cooperatives at their request.

This Law regulates property relations and classifies the types of ownership in three categories: (a) private; (b) collective; and (c) public. It establishes that the objects of property shall be land, subsoil, water resources, vegetable and animal kingdom. Plots of land and vegetation thereon can pertain to private ownership.

In the Articles 10 and 10/1 the wording “annual minimum rent for lease of the plots of land” shall be substituted with the wording “annual rent for lease of land.”
