The purpose of these Measures is to prevent and control water and soil loss, protect and rationally utilize water and soil resources, reduce floods, droughts, wind and sand disasters, improve the ecological environment, build ecological security barrier, and ensure the sustainable development of economy and society.

This Regulation is formulated in accordance with the Water and Soil Conservation Law of the People’s Republic of China, aiming to prevent and control the water and soil loss, improve ecological environment, promote the construction of eco-civilization and safeguard economical and social sustainable development in Liaoning Province.

It provides for the implementation of water and soil conservation target responsibility system and responsibility lifelong accountability system. Soil and water conservation work shall be mainly under the territorial management of the local people's governments at county (city, district) level.

This Decree establishes the modalities of transfer of typical and (or) rare natural landscapes and biotopes under protection of the owners of land plots and (or) waterbodies, forms of certificates of the aforesaid landscapes and biotopes and conservation pledge agreement, and terms and conditions of the issuance thereof. Identification of typical and (or) rare natural landscapes and biotopes shall be performed by specialized and authorized legal person in the process of performing scientific research or monitoring of vegetation.

These Regulations amend the Landfill Tax Regulations 1996 in regulation 31(3) concerning the maximum credit a landfill site operator may claim against annual landfill tax liability, in respect of qualifying contributions made. They also update a reference to section 72 of the Charities Act 1993.

The purpose is to ensure protection from disturbance, capture and damage to nests and eggs under Article 5 of the Directive for all species of birds, not just the birds listed on Schedule 3 (with the exception of those birds covered under Articles 7 for hunting and 9, where derogations are listed).

These Regulations lay down some amendments to the Development Planning (Fees) Regulations, which concern the fees to be paid to the Malta Environment and Planning Authority in respect of applications for permission to carry out development in the areas specified.

El presente Decreto Supremo aprueba disposiciones complementarias para la aplicación de los Estándares de Calidad Ambiental (ECA) para Suelo, a fin de precisar las acciones que demanda la identificación de un sitio impactado, la elaboración y ejecución del plan de descontaminación de suelo, así como situaciones de cumplimiento e incumplimiento de instrumentos de gestión ambiental, incluyendo aquellos casos en que se encuentre en trámite de aprobación.

El presente Decreto crea la Comisión Interinstitucional para la Protección de las Personas Desplazadas por la Violencia, que tendrá como objeto impulsar la formulación de políticas y la adopción de medidas para la prevención del desplazamiento forzado por la violencia, así como la atención, protección y soluciones para personas desplazadas y sus familiares.
