This Act provides with respect to the administration, structure, operations, powers, responsibilities and (additional) functions of the National Land Commission established by Article 67 of the Constitution and for certain aspects of management and administration of land in accordance with the principles of land policy set out in Article 60 of the Constitution and the national land policy.

These Rules provide that any party to a civil suit, action, cause or matter which has been brought and is pending before the Supreme Court may apply to the Chief Justice for referral of such civil suit, action, cause or matter for mediation. The mediation Judge shall have all necessary powers to facilitate mediation between and among the parties to the dispute in order to enable them to reach an agreement so as to dispose of the civil suit, action, cause or matter pending between the parties.

The present Regulations enforces provisions of the Cooperatives Act by prescribing forms and by regulating more in detail various matters mainly relating to internal organization and procedures of cooperative societies including registration; records of a co-operative society; membership and meeting of members; management and financial matters; and arbitration and other dispute resolution.

Taxing authorities use property assessments to determine the tax rates needed to raise the revenue required to pay for public services. Taxation and Property Records sends property owners a Statement of Account - Property Charges that shows assessed values and the applicable charges.

This peace agreement between Ethiopia and Eritrea ad seeks to resolve the misunderstanding between the parties regarding their common border and establish a neutral Boundary Commission. The parties agree that the delimitation and demarcation determinations of the Commission shall be final and binding. Each party shall respect the border so determined, as well as territorial integrity and sovereignty of the other party. The Agreement also provides for the eatblishment of a a neutral Claims Commission.

The National Land Use Policy aims at enhancing people’s food security, water resource development, improvement of transportation, economic and business development, and protection of environment and cultural heritage.

These Rules are determined pursuant to Article 50 of the Public Nuisance Dispute Mediation Act.According to the Public Nuisance Dispute Mediation Act, the “public nuisance” means human activities which destroy the living environment, and damage or endanger public health.

The present Act lays down provisions relating to the Planning Appeal Board. The Board is responsible for hearing property assessment appeals, appeals of land use and planning decisions from throughout New Brunswick and hearing appeals of local heritage review Boards decisions under the Municipal Heritage Preservation Act. The Board is comprised of 11 regional panels from around the province, each consisting of a common chairperson and two members appointed from the respective region. The text consists of 27 sections.

The present Regulations are made under the Cree-Naskapi (of Quebec) Act. In particular, the Regulations provide for the establishment of a land registry system, under the control and supervision of the Minister for the registration of rights and interests in Category IA and IA-N l and in buildings situated thereon. The Land Registry System shall consist of the following registry offices: a) a Central Land Registry Office; b) one local Land Registry Office for each Cree band; and c) a Local Land Registry Office for the Naskapi band.
