National Forest Policy of Suriname.
The main objective of the present Forest Policy is enhancing the contribution of the forests to the national economy and the welfare of the current and future generations, taking into account the preservation of the biodiversity.
Act relative to land for agricultural use (section 11).
Section 11 forms part of first paragraph (entitled “Hereditary lease”) which forms part of the third Chapter entitled “Granting of rights in respect of lands of the domain”. Section 11 regulates the use of plants and trees present on the public lands tenured in long-term lease.
Order containing rules relative to the allocation of public land (article 20).
The land tenant shall be allowed to freely use of plants and trees that are planted by others, as far as such use is not excluded in the allocation order and subject to payment imposed by laws for the logging for other purposes than own use.

The international community has responded by creating norms that ban the actions of belligerents (during armed conflicts) and States (in times of peace) which produce the unlawful displacement of people.
