These Regulations regulate the lease of crown lands to residents. Applications for renting crown lands shall be made to the Chief Surveyor and shall be forwarded to the Minister. Control shall be carried out that no proposed area shall be part of a forest reserve. An agreement shall be signed between the Chief Surveyor on behalf of the Government and the applicant in the form as set out in the Schedule. The agreement shall contain conditions as the Governor-general may deem fit. Land shall not exceed five acres in extent and the lease shall not exceed one year of duration unless it is a year to year tenancy. Regulation 11 provides with respect to servitude.
