The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

This Guideline lays down the technical criteria used for the classification of pasture and meadows as well as the procedures to be followed for leasing pasture and meadow areas to individuals or private entities. The classification is used for the preparation of management plans, the update of the pasture cadaster, and the lease contracts with private users. The leasing is done in accordance with the management plans and the rules of protecting pasture ecosystems and the sustainable development of pasture resources.
Order No. 319 of the Deputy Prime Minister validating the Regulation on protection, removal or reconstruction of land survey stations.
This Order establishes the modalities of protection, removal or reconstruction of land survey stations. Registration and protection of land survey stations shall pertain to the competence of the authorized state institution. Land plot on which is located land survey station and strip of land 1 meter wide around it shall be considered protection area of land survey station. Owners of land areas where land survey stations are located must timely inform the competent authority of any damages to or unauthorized removal of land survey stations.

Resolución Nº 172-2016-VIVIENDA ─ Reglamento Nacional de Tasaciones.
La presente Resolución aprueba el Reglamento Nacional de Tasaciones, que tiene por objeto establecer criterios, métodos y procedimientos técnicos normativos para la tasación de bienes inmuebles, muebles e intangibles. El Reglamento es de alcance nacional y su aplicación es obligatoria para la elaboración de tasaciones comerciales y reglamentarias que soliciten las Entidades y Empresas Estatales de derecho público o de derecho privado.

Acuerdo Nº 972-2016 ─ Requisitos para obtener la Guía de embarque de productos de la camaricultura.
El presente Acuerdo dispone que para obtener la Guía de embarque el interesado deberá contar con su Contrato de Arrendamiento y Certificado Ambiental vigente o tener en proceso la solicitud de Contrato de Arrendamiento y Certificado Ambiental de la finca camaronera enmarcada en la Ley de Fortalecimiento de la Camaricultura.
