The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

Environmental Impact Assessment (Forestry) (Scotland) Regulations 1999 (S.S.I. No. 43 of 1999).
The present Regulations implement, for Scotland, changes made to Council Directive 85/337/EC, implemented by the 1998 Regulations, made by Council Directive 97/11/EC. They also implement the extension of both Directives to the Contracting Parties of the European Economic Area (EEA) under Article 74 and Annex XX paragraph I.1 of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as given effect by Decision No.20/1999 of the EEA Joint Committee adopted on 26th February 1999.
Environmental Impact Assessment (Scotland) Regulations 1999 (S.S.I. No. 1 of 1999).
These Regulations implement, in relation to town and country planning, roads and drainage works in Scotland, Council Directive 85/337/EC on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment. They revoke and re-enact, with amendments, the relevant Parts of the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Regulations 1988. The main changes made by Directive 97/11/EC, which these Regulations implement, are as follows. The number of categories of project subject to environmental impact assessment (EIA) is increased.
Decision No. 384 of 1990 concerning implementation of the Law of the Republic of Armenia about property in the Republic of Armenia.
The contents of this Decree are strictly limits to carrying into effect of the Law on Property. It regulates the relationships of the Law with other legislation and provides for matters of transitional nature such as existing deeds and acts and entry into force of the Law, and proposes legislative acts for the implementation of the Law.

El presente Decreto introduce reformas a la Ley del Régimen especial de la tierra en propiedad de las asociaciones cooperativas, comunales y comunitarias campesinas, y beneficiarios de la reforma agraria de 1996, en lo relativo al precio base de la subasta y al pago en tierras por las deudas agrarias.
