Niagara Parks Act (R.S.O. 1990, c. N.3)
This Act concerns the Niagara Parks Commission, its composition, functions and powers for the management and administration of the Niagara Parks. Section 7 provides for the acquisition and expropriation of land, section 11 concerns local improvement works, section 13 the collection of water revenues and rentals and section 14 bridges over Niagara River.

Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Act, 2001 (S.O. 2001, c.31).
This Act concerns the conservation of the Oak Ridges Moraine area, it consists of 25 sections. It designates the Oak Ridges Moraine Area and provides for the preparation of the management plan. It regulates the administration of the area and related matters, including licences, offences and conflicts with other Acts.
Ontario Heritage Act (R.S.O. 1990, c. O.18).
This Act concerns the conservation and protection of the cultural heritage of Ontario, it consists of 70 sections and is divided into seven Parts. Part I covers issues related to the administration of the Act, Part II is dedicated to the Ontario Heritage Foundation, its organization, powers and the management of funds and Part III is dedicated to the Conservation Review Board.
Ontario Planning and Development Act, 1994 (S.O. 1994, c. 23, Sch. A).
Under section 2 of the Act, when a “development planning area has been established, the Minister shall, (a) cause to be carried out an investigation and survey of the environmental, physical, social and economic conditions affecting the development planning area or any part of it; and (b) cause a proposed development plan for the planning area or part of it to be prepared, within a period of two years or such other period of time as the Minister considers appropriate.” The Act prescribes which have to be the contents of the development plan and provides for its submission and approval.
