I am Knowledge and Information Management Officer with FAO. I am passionate about access to agriculture agricultural data, ICTs and information for development. I believe online communities are a great tool to create advocacy and awareness to bigger challenge of ending hunger and malnutrition.To me access to knowledge is the first step to fight hunger ; facilitating the collection of local (locally generated and accepted indigenous knowledge) and agricultural scientific research knowledge is a key step in empowering local communities towards agricultural productivity. Yet also transforming research into action, and also to the people who needs it most remains a goal l strive to commit myself to.
