The present Law implements the Federal Land Use Planning Law of 22 June 1979 and is the basis for measures concerning land use planning and building of the Canton and municipalities. The Law aims at a purposeful, especially thrifty use of land; the promotion of a meaningful and orderly development of the settlement; the protection of cultural heritage, landscapes and natural resources from impairment.

This Ordinance amends the Land Acquisition Act 1984, in its application to the Province of Sindh, by: inserting two new subsections in section 5 prescribing the manner in which a notification shall be made to notify that particular land is needed for a public purpose or for a Company; inserting a new subsection (3-A) to section 5-A on hearing of objections; inserting a new subsection (1-A) to section 6 regarding declarations that land is required for public purposes; inserting new clauses and a new subsection in section 11 on enquiries into measurements, value and claims and award by the Co

This Chapter defines offences of a miscellaneous character including: unauthorized disposition of certain foods by a person who has any responsibility for disposition of any food commodity donated under any program of the United States government or the State or Federated States of Micronesia government, violation of business license provisions; violation of section 401 of Title 18 (Conservation and Resources) is on unlawful acts of petroleum disposal; violation of public planning provisions; the keeping of any animal found to be a public nuisance; and the damaging of reefs.

This Act directs the Secretary of the Interior, to review every roadless area of 5,000 or more acres and every roadless island within National Wildlife Refuge and National Park Systems and to recommend to the President the suitability of each such area or island for inclusion in the National Wilderness Preservation System. The National Wilderness Preservation System is to be composed of federally owned areas designated by the Congress as "wilderness areas". The Secretary of Agriculture must recommend suitable areas in the National Forest System.

The Minister may, by Order published in the Gazette, declare any area of public land to be a preserved area. Section 4 declares the Land Ordinance to apply to preserved areas.

This Law amends the Preservation of Natural Beauty and Control of Agricultural Land (Guernsey) Law, 1959 in section 2 in relation with the number of members that shall constitute the Natural Beauty and Control of Agricultural Land Committee.

This Law provides for the preservation of natural beauty of Guernsey and the control of development of agricultural land and for these purposes provides for the appointment by the States of the Preservation of Natural Beauty and Control of Agricultural Land Committee. The Law principally grants legislative powers to the States for the purposes of this Law. Ordinances of the States shall provide for a system of authorization of development of agricultural land and certain activities affecting the landscape.

This Law consists of 11 Chapters divided into 74 articles: Plans (I); Preparation of plans and their approval (II); Official Maps (III); Use and classification of zones (IV); Public utilities (V); Land subdivision (VI); Buildings (VII); Re-planning of blighted and underdeveloped areas (VIII); General rules (IX); Sanctions (X); Provisions and final rules (XI).Terms and definitions are given in article 1. The present Act lays down provisions relating to land consolidation. Article 1 establishes that to improve production, working conditions in agriculture and forestry, as well as to improve general land use planning and land development, owned land may be consolidated. This is executed by means of official procedures within a certain area with the participation of the totality of land owners and competent authorities. The implementation of land consolidation shall be given top priority by the Länder. Accordingly, they shall appoint the competent organs.
