The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

An Act to regulate the ownership and administration of Ratchaphatsadu land. "Ratchaphatsadu land" means every immovable property, which is State property except the following domaine public of State. There shall be a committee called "Ratchaphatsadu Land Committee" consisting of minister and other State officials. The Committee shall have duties to lay down policies, rules and procedure concerning the supervision, maintenance, utilisation and management of Ratchaphatsadu land. The rules and procedure prescribed by the Committee shall be in the form of Ministerial Regulation.

The present Law regulates relations between the State and its authorized bodies and legal and natural persons in the process of privatisation of state property. Article 4 defines the basic principles of privatisation. The Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, within the limits of its competence, shall: manage the process of privatisation of state property in the Republic of Tajikistan; approve programs for the privatisation of state property; establish the order and methods of valuation for objects, subject to privatisation make other decisions on privatisation issues.

The right of ownership in the Republic of Tajikistan is recognised and protected by law. Enforcement of the right of ownership must not harm the environment and the health of citizens nor must it breach the rights and lawful interests of citizens, enterprises, organizations and the State. Objects falling under the right of ownership include the ground and its resources, water, flora, fauna, tracts of mountains, equipment, raw materials, food products, profits on economic and other intellectual and creative activities of the owner (art. 4).

These measures propose to strengthen land administration, the protection of land rights, and to improve utilisation of land in Sichuan. Chapter I provides for administration of land. The local government shall restrict conversion of land for agriculture to land for construction (art. 2). Chapter 2 concerns ownership of land and land use rights. The Province shall implement a land registration system in accordance with the Law (art. 6). Article 8 concerns the use of state owned land. The Forestry Law of the PRC shall regulate ownership or use of land for forestry.

Ministerial Decree No. 1454-P on improving the activity of the users of hunting facilities and hunting areas in the field of protection and reproduction of wildlife species.

This Ministerial Decree recommends to the local regional authorities the concession to the users of hunting facilities and hunting areas the hunting reserves for a period of not less than 25 years. The local authorities of the Russian Federation are recommended to concede free-of-charge plots of land and grasslands of the state land cadastre and the state forestry register for the needs of community wildlife management calculating a hectare of land for ten thousand hectares of hunting area.
