The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

An Act to provide for the establishment of the Agricultural Credit Board and assistance to farmers by the Board. The Board is established under section 2. The Minister may establish Agricultural Credit Committees for one or more magisterial districts or portion of district. The Committees shall advise and assist the Minister or the Board. Assistance shall consist of a loan or selling or letting of immovable property. Immovable property may be acquired for farming purposes or sold by the State if the property is not suitable for farming purposes.
Land Groups Incorporation Regulation (Chapter 147).
This Regulation implements various provisions of the Land Groups Incorporation Act with respect to fees, the Register of Incorporated Land Groups, reference of disputes to a court, and prescribe forms for applications, dissolution of corporations, etc.

Withdrawal from disposal Order Aulavik (Banks Island) National Park, Northwest Territories (SI/99-53).
The purpose of this Order is to withdraw certain lands from disposal to establish the Aulavik (Banks Island) National Park. Subject to section 4, the lands described in the Schedule are withdrawn from disposal for the period beginning on the date of registration and ending on June 1, 2002.
Town and Country Planning (Hearings Procedure) (England) Rules 2000 (S.R. No. 1626 of 2000).
These Rules regulate the procedure to be followed for hearings in England caused by the Secretary of State to be held before he or an inspector determines appeals made to him in relation to planning permission, listed building consent and consent for the demolition of unlisted buildings in conservation areas. Rule 4 provides for the preliminary procedure to be followed, in particular the information to be provided by a local planning authority, on receipt by it of a notice that a hearing is to be held.
