Location

The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

For the purpose of implementing the Land Survey Act 1961, the Regulation establish in Part III, concerning field work, establishes, inter alia, the procedure, methods of measurement and the limit of allowable difference from the original survey. Part IV regards the placing of beacons, the marking of survey stations, the damage to and removal of trigonometrical stations, reference marks and bench marks, and the placing of reference marks.

The Act provides for the establishment of the Natural Resources Board, whose functions shall: (a) except in respect of Swazi areas to exercise supervision over natural resources; (b) to promote the conservation and improvement of natural resources; (c) to advice the Minister of Agriculture on the proper conservation, use and improvement of natural resources. The Minister may, on the recommendation of the board, set aside Government land or acquire land in areas other than the Swazi areas, for the conservation or improvement of natural resources.

La liste de terrains annexée à l'arrêté du Gouvernement flamand du 4 mars 1997 portant désignation des terrains faisant l'objet d'une pollution historique du sol dont l'assainissement s'impose, conformément à l'article 30, paragraphe 2, du décret du 22 février 1995 relatif à l'assainissement du sol, est completée par le terrains figurant sur la liste de l'annexe 1 au présent arrêté. L'arrêté comprend 3 articles et 2 annexes.
