This Act imposes a tax on property on hereditaments, i.e. any real property and all estates, interest, easements and rights whether equitable or legal in, to or out of real property. It also provides for collection and recovery of taxes and other matters relating to taxation such as valuation and appeal against valuations and impositions.

These Rules implement provisions of the Registered Land Act in relation with, among other things, forms of registration, (refund of) fees and the verification of judgements for purposes of section 108 of the Act.

This Act makes provision with respect to development of land in Montserrat and for these purposes establishes the Montserrat Land Development Authority. The Authority shall be a body corporate and shall encourage and secure the efficient and economic utilization of land vested in it or acquired by it in the interest of the people of Montserrat.

This Act amends the Montserrat Land Development Authority Act in sections 2, 4 and 15 in relation with the management and the composition of the Land Development Authority. The Permanent Secretary of the Department government responsible for land or his/her designate shall be the Chairman of the Authority.

This Order prescribes, for purposes of 3, 5, and 68 of the Property Tax Act, property tax rates and the rate of surcharge on property tax in respect of hereditaments falling under the classification shown in Column I of the Schedule.

This Act makes provision with respect to planning and control of development in Montserrat and for these purposes establishes the Planning and Development Authority, defines its functions and powers and provides with respect to its organization and administration. The Authority shall prepare a National Physical Development Plan in accordance with this Act.

This Act concerns partition of all lands the subject of any co-tenancy, whether held or acquired before or after its passing. All joint tenants and tenants in common of any estate on which they have specified rights may be compelled in manner provided for in this Act to make severance and partition between them of all such lands respectively.

These Regulations implement provisions of the Physical Planning Act concerning: An application for permission to construct, alter or extend any building; an application to subdivide land; an application for change of use of land or buildings; and miscellaneous application requirements.
