La presente Ley tiene por objeto la preservación, conservación, defensa y mejoramiento del ambiente en todo el territorio de la Provincia de Córdoba, con el fin de lograr y mantener una óptima calidad de vida. La Ley contiene disposiciones específicas para la tutela de las aguas, los suelos, la atmósfera, así como la flora y la fauna (con particular atención a las especies en peligro de extinción).
La presente Ley declara de interés provincial y de ejecución prioritaria los planes y programas tendientes al mejoramiento, subdivisión racional, entrega y aprovechamiento integral, así como a la incorporación efectiva a la economía provincial, de las tierras de propiedad pública ubicadas en la Quebrada y Puna. Uno de los objetivos principales consiste en consolidar y aumentar la población rural, arraigando al agricultor y al ganadero en la tierra que trabajan.
El presente Decreto tiene por objeto reglamentar la Ley Integral del Aborigen. En primer lugar el Decreto define a las comunidades aborígenes como organizaciones tradicionales, es decir grupos indígenas que funcionan como comunidades en un espacio territorial determinado conforme a sus usos y costumbres históricas.
This Act regulates the devolution of the estate of any person who dies intestate, having regard to international private law and, in particular, customary law. Any person who dies leaving a will disposing of part of his or her estate shall be deemed to have died intestate under this Law in respect of that part of his or her estate which is not disposed of in the will and accordingly the provisions of this Law shall apply to such part of his or her estate.
El presente Ley tiene como finalidad proteger, conservar, gestionar y, en su caso, restaurar y mejorar la diversidad genética, la riqueza y productividad de los espacios naturales de Cataluña, los cuales deberán ser compatibles con el desarrollo y utilización de los recursos naturales y ambientales, en el marco de la protección del medio y de la ordenación racional y equilibrada del territorio.
Esta Ley establece las normas que regirán todos los actos o hechos en virtud de los cuales se pretenda la transformación de las medidas o límites de predios ubicados en el territorio del Estado de Yucatán, con el propósito de fraccionarlos. Se estipula que ningún fraccionamiento de terrenos podrá llevarse a cabo sin la autorización previa expedida por el Gobernador o por la Secretaría de Obras Públicas y Desarrollo Urbano, después de haberse cumplido los requisitos que, para cada caso, establezca esta Ley.
During the past two decades there has been increasing concern that the development strategies of the 1950s and 1960s would neither eliminate nor even greatly reduce poverty even as the pervasive nature of that poverty became more widely recognized. This increase in concern conincided with the drama of the major biological breakthroughs in food production associated with the "green revolution." A debate began on whether there was a causal relation between the technology of the green revolution and the incidence of rural poverty.
In his insghtfull but unfinished work, Dharm Narain drew attention to the behavior of prices as one of the important factors determining the extent of poverty in rural India. His empirical investigations, summarized in Gunvant Desai's contribution to this volume (chap. 1), provide strong prima facie evidence of such influence. Dharm Narain found that rural poverty is not only inversely related to the level of output per head of the rural population, as established in Ahluwalia (1978a), but also positively related to the level of prices.
